"A river that separates the pack's socializing area from the hunting grounds. Can be crossed be either jumping the rocks or swimming. Fish can be caught here and is a nice place to swim during the summer months."

Prey - Fish, Hare and possible Cow & Bull Elk.
Dangers - Bears and possible Coyotes

Shade laid down on the river bank, and dipped her paw in the water, watching it move around it. She saw a fish school on down then river. She got up and stood beside them, she leaned forward to get a better look, but instead lost her footing and fell in the water. Shade jumped back out, coughing and panting, and looked around to see if anyone else saw.

Castalia was a little further down the river than Shade...she was enjoying herself swimming in the deeper parts of the river...when she spotted Shade fall in as part of her natural instincts she burst full speed to Shade's side and nudged her "Are you alright Shade?" She asked with a slight giggle.

Shade panted, looking down, then noticed Castalia. "Yeah, I'm okay. Just surprised." Shade shook her pelt to dry it, and sat down on the bank. "Did you see that?"

Castalia flicked her ears trying to hold back laughter and said "Why yes I did", in a normal tone. "Do you not enjoy swimming?!" And with that last question she leaped right into the water, dove down and brought back up a moss covered rock. She dropped it at Shade's feet.

Shade huffed, "Yeah I like swimming!!" She shook her fur one more time, then looked back at Castalia, "But I don't drowning." She glanced at the rock then started to walk off.

Castalia, shook herself off and continued up the stream where the fish were more popular...she sat by the side and intensely stared at the water, waiting for a fish to come by.

Shade grinned evily as she stalked Castalia down the river bank. She positioned herself behind Castalia, and crouched down ready to pounce. Shade giggled a bit then dove to push Castalia in the water.

Castalia with her extremely quick reflexes realized that she was falling in and managed to grab part of Shade's fur and pull her right along with her into the water. Castalia came up above water and happily laughed at Shade for almost completely fooling her.

Shade surfaced laughing. "You got me wet!!" Shade splashed Castalia then ran off down the bank laughing. "You can't catch me!!"
